This Privacy Policy explains how the Speeky Android app ("Speeky", "the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use it. By using Speeky you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
1. What Speeky does
Speeky plays special low-frequency sounds through your phone's loudspeaker to help push water out of the speaker grill. The sounds are generated on your phone. Speeky does not require an account or sign-in.
2. Information we collect

We do not collect: your name, phone number, email address, contacts, photos, videos, files, precise location, call logs, SMS, or microphone/camera data. Speeky never records audio and does not ask for microphone, camera, location, contacts or storage permission.
Your favourite sounds and app settings (volume, duration, vibration) are stored only on your phone and are never sent to us.
3. App permissions

While a sound plays, Speeky may temporarily raise the media volume to maximum (you can turn this off in Settings) and restores your previous volume afterwards.
4. Advertising and third parties
Speeky is free and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.). AdMob is an independent controller of the data it collects and may show personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your settings and region.

Your ad choices: on Android open Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland may be asked for consent for personalised ads where the law requires it.
Our statistics server is hosted by our web hosting provider, who processes data only to run the server for us. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.
5. How we use information
- To provide and improve the app and its sounds.
- To count installs, active users and usage, and to find and fix problems.
- To show ads and decide how often they appear, which keeps Speeky free.
- To keep our service secure and prevent abuse.
Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies): our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the app; your consent where required for personalised advertising; and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Data security
Data sent between the app and our server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). Access to the statistics dashboard is password-protected and limited to the developer. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Data retention
Usage statistics are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or fully anonymised. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies. Data stored on your phone is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
8. Your rights and deleting your data
You can request access to or deletion of the statistics linked to your app instance ID at any time:
- Open Speeky → Settings → Privacy Policy and copy the App ID shown at the bottom.
- Email supra.mann67@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Speeky data" and paste your App ID.
- We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
You can also stop all data collection at any time by uninstalling the app. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California, Pakistan or India), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children's privacy
Speeky is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and is not designed for the Google Play "Designed for Families" programme. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Safety notice
Use Speeky only on your own device. Keep the phone away from your ears while sounds play, remove headphones first, and stop if anything sounds wrong. Speeky helps clear small amounts of water from the speaker grill; it cannot repair water damage. If your phone was submerged, switch it off and have it checked. Speeky is provided "as is" without warranty.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and significant changes will be announced in the app.
